all the difference.
A useful review tells a property manager what happened, where it happened and what needs a decision. Start with agreed rooms and observable tasks, then make the follow-up easy to use.
01
Begin with a shared definition of the work
Record the rooms, tasks and frequency in writing. In a multi-tenant building, distinguish the common-area scope from each suite so a concern reaches the person responsible for it.
02
Review the places people actually use
Select agreed points such as entrance glass, a meeting table, a washroom fixture or a section of accessible floor. An illustrative 3D scene shows the kinds of areas to discuss; it is not evidence of a completed visit.
03
Make exceptions specific
An inaccessible room, a missed agreed task and a request for extra work are different issues. Record the area, relevant scope item and action needed without including private papers, tenant details or customer records.

04
Name the contact and the change process
Agree the reporting channel with the provider and name who can authorize extra work. When occupancy, hours or room use change, update the scope rather than leaving the old checklist in place. A changed product also belongs in the handover. Check its label, the surface-care instructions and any applicable safety data sheet with the provider; WorkSafeBC explains these sources of product information.
Reporting methods are agreed with the provider. Ask what is available and suitable for your property; a dashboard or photo report is not automatically included.
Does a checklist certify hygiene or disinfection?+
No. A checklist records tasks against the agreed scope. It does not certify a health outcome, sterility or a clinical standard.
How should tenants report a concern?+
Use the contact arrangement agreed by the property manager and provider. Include the location and issue so it can be matched to the right scope.
